The CARTIO Project works on the development of data standards aimed at operational resilience. The directory architecture is divided into three complementary fronts.

It is at this threshold of high entropy that the CARTIO Project fits in: proposing an open, lightweight, and autonomous standard to guarantee access control and identity flow without depending on cloud connectivity or robust backhauls.
The project's research is developed at the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), whose origin dates back to the Real Academy of Artillery, Fortification, and Design, founded in 1792, configuring the first engineering school of the Americas and the third in the world.
This heritage of scientific engineering guides the project, combining classic computing with network survivability to provide solutions that support decision-making when conventional means fail.
